Appalachian Geographical Society
The Appalachian Geographical Society (AGS) is a student-run, university-recognized organization consisting of major and non-major members who are interested in fellowship, outings, fun, and learning more about geography.
The Society has been very active in the past, and continues to grow. Some of the more exciting past activities have been star parties, caving excursions, orienteering opportunities, hikes, sledding and skiing parties. The club also maintains a section of Adopt-A-Highway along NC 105 and conducts bi-yearly road clean-ups.
For more information about the club, please contact Jonah Waterman jw73462@appstate.edu
